Redesign

In theory the concept of 'taking care of what we have' is simple and easy. The reality is somewhat different - with fashionable clothing becoming outdated, outgrown, or even forgotten in the back of a wardrobe. Sportswear can often become outdated even faster, with local clubs changing sponsors with little warning and suddenly last years brand new jacket can no longer be used officially. 

Therefore we offer a fun redesign service to take your old or new-but-outdated items and turning them into something new. For example - a new-but-outdated lightweight sports jacket can become a jacket for children smaller than size 134. Or it could become part of a blanket to sit on, or even a drawstring bag for storing shoes. Old towels can become wash clothes or make-up wipes - essentially, whatever you dream, we can sew it.

There is a non-refundable upfront cost of 199kr for redesign - this covers the packaging and postage to return the item to you later, as well as a small inital fee for Lyngfjell to examine your garment and give you several options for the redesign based on your preferances. 

You are responsible for packaging and sending the item to Lyngfjell once you order (information arrives in a seperate email).

Once we have examined the garment we will quote you a fair price for the work, which will first be agreed by you, and then an invoice for the work will be sent by email. The invoice is to be paid before we start work. If you do not agree to the price, we will be send your original item back to you.
